SpaSpace Connect – Child Safety & Protection Standard

Our Commitment

SpaSpace Connect is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and positive community. Protecting children online is a core part of that responsibility. Our platform fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506) and follows international best practices for child protection.

We strictly prohibit any use of our services to exploit, harm, or endanger children.

Age Requirements

SpaSpace Connect is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

We do not ask children to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary.
If SpaSpace Connect offers features where children may interact (for example, family-based wellness events), we will:
- Obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information.
- Provide clear notice of what information is being collected, how it will be used, and if it will be shared.
- Give parents the ability to review and request deletion of their child’s personal data at any time.

Code of Conduct for All Members

All SpaSpace Connect community members, staff, and partners must:

Treat children with respect and dignity.
Never engage children in sexual, abusive, exploitative, or inappropriate interactions (online or offline).
Never exchange personal contact information with children under 18 through the platform.
Never post, share, or request sexually explicit or harmful materials.
Immediately report any suspected child exploitation, abuse, or inappropriate behavior.

Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the platform and referral to law enforcement when required.

Media & Content Guidelines

We do not allow the posting of identifiable photos, videos, or media of children without documented parent/guardian consent.
Any approved content must respect the child’s dignity, avoid exploitative or suggestive contexts, and never disclose personal identifiers (full name, address, school, etc.).

Reporting & Response

SpaSpace Connect provides confidential and accessible reporting mechanisms for violations of this standard.

In-App Reporting: Every user can report abuse, harassment, or suspected child exploitation directly through the app.
Direct Contact: Email us at info@spaspace.com for urgent concerns.
Law Enforcement: We cooperate fully with child protective services and law enforcement agencies worldwide.

Reports are handled by our designated Child Protection Officer and reviewed immediately. If a child is at risk, SpaSpace Connect will take emergency action, including suspension of accounts and notification of the appropriate authorities.

Data Retention & Security

Personal information relating to children (if ever collected with consent) will be stored only as long as necessary to fulfill its intended purpose.
We apply strict technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Data will be deleted securely in accordance with COPPA § 312.10 and our internal security program.

Training & Accountability

All SpaSpace staff, moderators, and service providers receive training on child protection, online safety, and reporting obligations.
Background checks are required for employees who may interact with minors through events or services.
Our policy is reviewed annually to ensure compliance with U.S. law and international standards.

Zero Tolerance

SpaSpace Connect maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child abuse, exploitation, or neglect. Any violation results in immediate termination of access, mandatory reporting to relevant authorities, and permanent banning from the platform.
